Car packed tight with goodies and gifts

To Grandma's house we go

Across the bridge and winding roads

Through rain and sometimes snow.

Cant' wait for the turkey and fruit cake

Mash potatoes, yams and such

Christmas tree standing there waiting

Trimmed with a loving touch.

So many gifts around the tree

Stocking hanging lined in a row

So much fun at Grandma's

Each year the fun seems to grow.

Grandpa leads the singing

Dressed up in his Santa attire

A happy family together

Laughing by the nice warm fire.

Yes, it's Christmas time at Grandma's

It's Christmas at Grandpa's too

Let's wish all Grandparents everywhere

Merry Christmas from me to you.
