I heard the whisper of your voice

"My child the dye is cast"

Softly I heard the angel say

"There is peace my dear at last."

I felt your tender touch today

As the soft breeze rustled by

It was then the angel said to me

"Your memories will never die."

My heart is breaking dearest one

As I sit in my lonely room

The angel came to me and said

"Your Lord is coming soon."

I knew that I'd have to leave you

For my journey far above

Once again the angel said

"You will leave with so much love."

I knew that I would miss you

Never again  find my way

But then I heard the angel say

"They are with you every day."

Oh how my loss deeply hurts

The depth of my very heart

Precious one I'm In Heaven

But we're never far apart.
