Mother's day is every day
Father's day is too
Their love for you never ending
In everything they do.

Times of happiness and tears
Hurt over many things
Always loving and giving
So proud what your accomplishments bring.

Always remember
Your whole life through
Your parents stood beside you
Always proud of you too.

When times are at their lowest
And you don't know what to do
Think of who is always there
When you are sad and blue.

Sometimes we tend to forget
To simply understand
The love our parents have for us
Always giving a helping hand.

The word "no" not in their vocabulary
Open arms ready to share
Never asking for anything in return
But to give them your love and care.

They too have a heart
That sometimes break in two
Because of things that you say
And selfish things you do.

The time may come when it's too late
To tell them how much you care
So think about their feelings
For they may no longer be there.

Please don't wait to show them
Your thoughtfulness and love
You would not be here without them
And our Father in Heaven above.

Be thoughtful to your parents
Give them love, appreciation and respect
This is the least that you can do
And all that they expect.
