I woke up this morning

With a song in my heart

I knew in a moment

It was a new start.

I could see the sun shining

Hear the birds sing

What a glorious feeling

This first sign of spring.

How wonderful to be living

Starting anew

How blessed I am

To have someone like you.

So enjoy the day

The happiness it will bring

Because dear one

It's the "First Day Of Spring."
