I was sinking deep in despair
Darkness each step I plod
Until I was suddenly forgiven
And miraculously touched by God.


He reached deep down in my soul
And cleansed me from within
He made me whole with his precious hands
And freed me from all sin.


He touched me, yes he touched me
Yes my Savior lives
My Father, my salvation
Peace within my heart he gives.


Oh how I love Jesus
He wiped my sins away
I was touched by God and now I know
Jesus is the only way.
