My Dreams

The time we are together
Means very much to me
It goes by very quickly
There's much I want to see.

Oh to see the sunset
Watch the changing of the tide
I'd like to see a sunrise
Knowing you are by my side.

I want to see the mountains
Towering high up near the sky
Wash my hands in soft white clouds
As they swiftly pass me by.

There is so much I want to see
So much I want to do
But honey it wouldn't be the same
If I didn't do them with you.

Contentment's what I'm looking for
If I can't find these things
The joy I've had of dreaming
Contentment it will bring.
