I once took a journey
It was a journey of pain
I have faced sorrow
Happiness and fame.

Discouragement I wouldn't hear of
I was just too smart
But when I thought my world ended
It truly broke my heart.

My spirits was shattered
Life had come to an end
My faith faltered
How I needed a friend.

Reflections from the past

Just swept me away

My life was so empty

I dreaded another day.

Then you came along
Just out of the blue
Lifted my spirits
Gave me hope too.

I would like to say thank you
Though words could never convey
How much it meant to me
When you came into my life that day.
