Change my heart oh Lord I pray

Make me humble night and day

Greed may knock upon my door

The easy way is mine no more.

I'll reach out to other's and let them know

You are with us where ever we go

Teach me a better way to live

So much love I want to give.

Forgive me for my sinful way

On my knees I repent today

My heart was dark but now is light

You made me aware of wrong and right.

I write the words I want to say

To lighten other burdens in some small way

The words you put there from the start

I share them with others from my heart.

If you could only show me how

I am ready dear Lord, ready right now

Yes, change my heart Oh Lord I pray

I will live for you each night and day.
