Days are not always sunny

And things may not go just right

But try to always remember

There is darkness before the light.

Things may not be as we would wish

But one thing I know is true

If you want something bad enough

Work hard and it comes to you.

No one said life would be easy

And good things would come our way

Accept what you have and be thankful

For tomorrow is a brand new day.

When days are sad and lonely

You may not want to be bothered at all

Always remember in each ones life

A little rain must fall.

God gave us a life to be thankful for

Make do with it as you may

If mistakes have been made in the past my friend

Make up for them another day.

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation

and uphold me with free spirit.
