Your vote is so important
No matter how you choose
If you don't cast your ballot
You are the one to lose.
Think about the old and poor
The war, the jobs, our rights
Vote for the candidate
Who'll get out there and fight.
So many things to think about
So many promises made
Let us look for experience
Someone who's made the grade.
The war is a big topic
Something that we should fear
Do we fight the enemy over there
Or do we fight them here.
Economy is a big concern
Abolish "Pork Spending" I say
Keep our money in America
And keep poverty away.
Everyone promises us a change
But don't say what and where
Do they just want the position
Or do they really care.
Forget about gender
Forget about race too
Pick someone you can trust
To make choices for me and you.
Don't fall for Universal Health Care
If you now have it tough
Check out just what it really means
For us all it will be rough.
If you think your tax is too much now
Hard to pay the bills
Politicians don't have that worry
Taxing us gives them their thrills.
So vote your conscience my friend
Let your heart lead the way
Let us pray whoever wins this fight
Gives us a better day
