I'm proud to be an American
God bless us one and all
Because of our great military
We can stand straight and tall.

We can thank our troops today
For their honor, bravery and love
That they give to their country
Guided by our Father up above.

We are mocked every day
By those that can't compete
They would like to see our country fall
Would like to see defeat.

There's is a higher authority
Who observes from up in Heaven
He will never let our country down
Nor allow another 9/11.

May we follow in His footsteps
Today and every day
Dispose of hate and discontent
Let us live the Christian way.
