Words alone could not express

The sadness that we feel

They cannot mend our broken heart

And help the sorrow heal.

How can we say "I'm sorry"

The words won't bring them back

What do we know of the suffering

That alone is what we lack.

How do we tell the families

Your loved one was so very brave

You see they already know that

But their lives we could not save.

War sometimes seem so useless

Yet when our country is at stake

Sending those we love to war

Is a decision they must make.

Yet it is very hard to accept

When we lose someone we love

They are all our fallen hero's

Who now salute our Lord above.

Those that protect us today

Near and far away

Let us show them our gratitude

In a proud and loving way.

Please let us pray the war will end

And send our loved ones home

Let the families of those in Heaven

Know they are not alone.

Memorial Day

A celebration to acknowledge those who bravely did a job and lost their lives in the process so that we may live in this wonderful country. Hero's they are, hero's they will always be. Never forget the

brave men and women or their families that paid the ultimate price so that we may be safe and free. When we say a prayer which as American's we should be allowed to do regardless of where we are, thank them.  When we pledge our allegiance to our flag which has always been our privilege as Americans, thank them.  When we sing The Star Spangle Banner, raise our flag in various places, put a manger scene in our yards, sing a hymn, pray, read the bible, let us remember our fallen ones and pray that God forgive us for the many sins we carry with us each day for not standing up for our rights and His name. Those men and women died so that we may have the freedom and privileges that people in so many other countries are not allow to have.  Stand up for our rights as true Americans and do not let anyone take them away from us.  No matter how hard they try. Pray for  those that feel the need to change our way of life for selfish reasons. Pray for the none believers and those that live in hate and discontent.

Let us fight here for what our Military is fighting for in other lands that we may live as true Americans and pray that God will walk with us every step of the way.  Do not give up, do not cease to fight, do not be swayed by other's that try to change our standard of life.  Let us all make it clear that if they are not happy with our laws and our way of life, we will be more then happy to help them depart from our country where they may prefer to reside in a more dictated part of the world.

May God Bless Us All!
