Let us pray every day

That we have peace on earth

Enjoy what God has given us

Appreciate it's worth.

The bible speaks of many wars

And wars that are rumored to come

This need not happen at all you know

If we work one on one.

By that I mean spread the word of love

Try to understand each other

Our differences are numerous

So be kind to one another.

We don't have to be all alike

Hate and vengeance won't solve anything

But love and understanding

Is what working together will bring.

It might seem impossible

With the horror in the world today

Killing innocent people

Thinking to get ahead that way.

All it does is cause everyone pain

Like a boxer in the ring

Someone must win or lose

Yet hurt and pain is all it will bring.

Everyone wants to be champion

Want the most and be the best

Let us pray for divine guidance

May God guide us though this quest.
