An old fashion Christmas

Is truly what I love

Holly and if we're lucky

Snow falling from above.

Wood pile stacked up so high

Dairy full of food

Everyone is happy

The children so amused.

Stockings hung by the fireplace

Cookies on the tree

Every single boy and girl

As good as they can be.

The house warm and cozy

Aroma of fruit cake in the air

A glorious time to be cheerful

Not a worry nor a care.

Livestock fed, nice and warm

Now we can get ready for church

Horse and sleigh waiting by the porch

As we're seated, takes off with a lurch.

Families are so very close

Love and happiness in the air

Everyone joins in family fun

Gifts wrapped with so much care.

I love an old fashion Christmas

Many memories will stay in my heart

Times that we will never forget

Those who are near or far apart.

I are truly rich with my memories

I thank God in Heaven above.

For a dear and precious family

And a home that's full of love.

Remember the true meaning of Christmas

Mary gave birth to a son

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Celebrate His birthday each and every one.
