Grandma I still remember
Though years have passed us by
Always ready to dry my tears
When something made me cry.
You'd scratch my back and stroked my hair
With hands as soft as cotton
The precious love from your touch
Will never be forgotten.
Grandma you were always close
With so much love to give
Your actions reflected the way you felt
The way you would always live.
Although you never had much
But an abundance of everlasting love
You would read your bible every day
And teach me of God above.
I love you oh so very much more
More then words could ever say
That's why I'd like to wish you
A very special "Mother's Day."
