Come With Me And Dream

I close my eyes what do I see

A vast ocean awaiting me

A masterpiece of greatest fare

Oh how I wish I could be there.

Come dream with me my dearest one

And watch the rise of a beautiful sun

Then while floating in the dark of night

Perplexed at the moon that shines so bright.

The motion of the water I feel

Not too many things for me appeal

But the sea as it rocks me slowly to sleep

I think this dream for me I'll keep.

And when I awake how happy I'll be

That my dream seemed real, me at sea

Such enormity and beauty my eyes behold

A dream such as this doesn't exist I'm told.

But a dream is a dream you can't take away

I'll store it in my heart to stay.

Sailing along the ocean blue

In my thoughts I think of you.

And when I am old, no place to go

I'll have that dream to renew I know

So if you have a dream don't toss it away

Just store it in your heart for another day.
