What started as a young girls infatuation

Ended in a Cinderella story of love

I think God must have made our plans

From Heaven up above.

He was to me so charming

So popular, how I would swoon

Each time that I saw him

As he would enter a room.

Then one day we really met

A day I will never forget

Our love continued to grow

One I would never regret.

Married for many years

Ups and downs a few

A beautiful family we raised together

And our love just grew and grew.

Now in our golden years

Wonderful memories in our heart

Until God calls one of us home

We will never be apart.
