The joy I feel within my heart
No worry and no fear
Because my blessed Savior
I know
is always near.
He walks with me in green pastures
And listens as I speak
He guides me through the valley
With
the weary and the meek.
My Savior how I love thee
With every breath I take
Show me the Godly way to live
Forgive mistake’s I make.
Be with me every morning
As I quietly kneel and pray
Stay with me while at rest dear Lord
And as I start each day.
Let us sit beside the still waters
So peaceful and serene
I close my eyes and see thee
A dream so it may seem..
Embrace me in your precious arms
And help me
as I stand
I can face the many storms
If you'll just hold my hand.
So through the dark and lonely night
You stay by my side
And wiped each tear upon my cheek
As I hung my
head and cried.
Through the pain and endless tears
My faith began to grow
I could not see it at the time,
But his light began to glow.
