I'm so tired and so pooped out

I don't know what to do

Things just keep piling up

Just when I think I'm through.

Never a minute to catch my breath

Do this do that or the other

Sometimes all this ruckus

Makes me feel I'm gonna smother.

Clean the house, cook the meals

The laundry's stacked up high

Don't know when I'll get that done

The time keeps flying by.

I think I'll watch the soaps awhile

Can't finish anyway

Guess I'll let everything go

I'll do it another day.

I'd go out and smell the roses

If I weren't in such low gear

If I stay inside where I can hide

All that grass might disappear.

I'm plum pooped out!
