How innocent little children can be
When dreaming of things they cannot see
A lovely angel of stone nearby
They watch very closely to see if she'll fly.

They sit bright eyed and amused
Even though they are somewhat confused
So much they do not understand
We must take them by the hand.

Teach them of God and of Heaven above
So they can grow to sow their love
Teach them of angels who watch over them
To keep all safe and free of sin.

Imagine the beauty of what can be
In their precious eyes only love can see
Imagination is a wondrous thing
That a stature of an angel can truly bring.

So little time to share their dreams
They grow up much too fast it seems
That angel of stone so beautiful to see
To a little child seems as real as can be.

Their eyes sparkle, the stories they spin
Making believe the angel's a friend
Little do they know what angels can do
For these little children and also for you.

Don't under estimate a little child
Some are quiet and some quite wild
But when it comes a time to believe
Little children are always ready to receive.
