Home is where the heart is

This season full of cheer

Friends and family full of love

Christmas time is here.

As we gather with our gifts

Around the Christmas tree

Singing lovely holiday carols

Happy as can be.

Smell the wonderful aroma

So much food to share

Everyone happy together

Fellowship so rare.

Enjoy this special feeling

Family full of love

I bow my head and give my thanks

To our Lord up above.

Gazing at the midnight sky

Stars shine oh so bright

I think about our Savior

Born in Bethlehem that night.

He made this all possible

When He gave His very life

Hoping to take away our troubles

Our sins and our strife.

Let us pray for the unfortunate

And our troops near and far away

Ask  God to keep them safe

Today and everyday.

May your Christmas be happy

And your home full of love

Send our love ones a special prayer

In  Heaven up above.
