Watch out for that black cat

Don't let it cross your path

You touched that frog you silly thing

Now go home and take a bath.

Don't walk under that ladder

It's bad luck so they say

Don't pick up pennies with the head down

Where you see it let it stay.

If you break a mirror

Seven years is your doom

Don't open an umbrella

Not ever in a room.

You can tell I'm superstitious

It's just the way I am

I know I'm acting silly

Probably a hoax or a scam.

I'm not taking any chances

Staying inside you can bet

Let someone else have bad luck

I'm here just me and my pet.

My kitty cat "Blackie" duh!
