If you drink please don't drive

Many lives depend on you

Have a designated driver

Someone reliable you can turn to.

For there are drivers on the street

Who are careful and really care

Drinking you will not realize

The danger you impair.

People start out happy

Taking a leisure drive together

Then someone intoxicated

Wipe their lives out forever.

You can never bring a person back

Once you've ended that precious life

A child or a loved one

A stranger, husband or wife.

A family's dream can be crushed you see

Gone forever more

And sometimes all they think about

Is how to even the score.

And then reality finally sets in

And they know deep in their heart

There is no bringing back that precious one

That too soon was forced to depart.

Because a substance of any kind

Is A killer in disguise

Please think, I beg you before you drink

And please, think before you drive.

A Mother's Love

The above link was sent to me by a dear couple who lost their son and precious grandson due to a head on collision by a young man driving while intoxicated.  His life was also lost.  Because of her touching email and the link above (A Mother's Love) I was inspired to help her in the fight to keep those that not only drink and drive but also those that are participating in substance abuse of any kind from driving while under the influence.  Please help Cindy and Tom in their effort to keep these drivers off our streets.  If you do, then Torry and Garrett's death will not be in vain as well as millions of others.  This Christmas as we celebrate with our friends and family, remember Cindy and Tom's story and refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages or joining in any type of substance that might inhibit your control.  Have a designated driver and by doing so everyone will have a blessed holiday.

God Bless You

Ginny
