As I bow my head in reverence

A prayer of thanks I say

Bless my friends and family

On this Thanksgiving Day.

 

Thank you for the bounty

That you so generously give

A loving home and family

And memories we shall relive.

 

A day of love and happiness

Good food, good friends and fun

We thank thee for our blessings

And when the day is done.

 

Let us kneel in silent prayer

Raise our eyes to Heaven above

Thank Him for this special day

And fill our hearts with love.
