So often we don't take the time
To seek the thing that's treasured
Not wealth nor material things
But how your days are measured.
Friendship is very special
Cannot be bought or sold
It is precious if brand new
And priceless if its old.
Never forget your dearest friends
Treat them with loving care
If not they will soon leave you
When needed they won't be there.
