~Remember When~

It really wasn't long ago

We were happy and so gay

Sharing very many things

That we did every day.

Yes, we had our ups and downs

Like most sister's I know

It never seem to bother us

Experiences helped us grow.

But then came the time it seems

When things got out of hand

That was when the two of us

Saw the ocean instead of sand.

I only wish we could go back

And patch the hurt and tears

Like we use to do as children

Clinging together when there were fears.

I feel that now the time has come

Life is very, very short

As the first step I'd like to say

Can we please make a new start?

Always know I love you very much

Not a day in the year goes by

When I don't think of you Sis

As I sit alone and cry.

I'm sorry for all that has happened

And now I would like to say

Can we be loving sisters again

And start a brand new day?
