A day of love and gladness
Has finally passed us by
The beauty of the sunshine
Fades in the sky up high.

Evening skies approach us now
Twilight shrouds the earth
I hope your night is pleasant
For tomorrow will be a new birth.

I had to say good night to you
My friend so far away
And pray that tomorrow brings
A bright and sunny day.

Enjoy each day to it's fullest
I want you to always know
My thoughts and prayers are with you
No matter where you go.
