A precious child so innocent

So helpless and so sweet

Ready to accept in their child like mind

Every one that they meet.

How sad the evil in this world

That prey on these children and then

There are those maimed and some die

By the hands of some women or men.

How can adults and older children

Hurt a little one so precious and dear

How can they fill their little minds

With pain and so much fear.

Why take their innocence

Let them be happy as children should be

God I pray protect our children

Only good may their little eyes see.

Why prey on our babies

A slap on the wrist won't do

Lifetime punishment is what's needed

Let us demand that me and you.

Let us all work together

Some how or in some way

Make it safe for all the children

God be with them night and day.

Please help to protect all children everywhere from abuse.

Help keep these children safe from harm.  Report any actions

that may not look right by a stranger or family member.  Talk

to your children.  Make them aware of things that can happen

and tell them what to do.  Keep doors locked and make the

children play where you can watch them at all times.  Do not

leave them alone and be selective as well as ask for references

from all  baby sitters.  If your child tells you something concerning

someone touching them or saying ugly things to them, report it

immediately.  Our children should be our life and it is up to us to

protect them and keep them safe.
