I Can't Stand That

I Can't Stand That

I sit here and look around
My house is one big mess
If I wasn't so stressed out
I'd get right up and dress.

I just can't stand doing things
That I don't like to do
And I can't shake this cleaning house
It sticks to me like glue.

I ought to wash the dishes
But my dishwasher is broke
I'll slip them in hot water
And do a little soak.

Utility room full of laundry
I just can't stand doing that
I'll give the floor a good sweeping
Brush it under the front door mat.

When hubby comes home for dinner
I know he'll smell a rat
No dinner on the table
Cuz cooking, I can't stand that.

I think I need a good tonic
And probably a little rest
Think I'll practice that right now
That's something I do the best.
