The festive Christmas season

Is a time for love and cheer

Celebrating the birth of Jesus

This special day each year.

It's  also a special time

When friends  get together

Enjoy a loving fellowship

Remembered forever.

A time for each family

To cherish this happy day

With carols, gifts and goodies

In abundance on display.

Christmas time is when we think

Of gentle falling snow

When the earth in all it's purity

Seems to be aglow.

As we all sit down together

Thankful for this Christmas Day

Ask God for His blessings

As we bow our head and pray.

So from my house to your house

I send greetings full of cheer
